Auxiliaire être ou avoir Passé Composé: Le passé composé is a verb that allows us to describe actions in the past. It is formed using 2 verbs: Avoir or Être (L’auxiliaire) and another verb (le participe passé). The verb avoir or être is conjugated based on the subject of the sentence. The past participle called le participe passé in French, is very similar in French and English. It’s essential in the creation of compound verb tenses/moods and the passive voice, and it can also be used as an adjective.The French past participle usually ends in -é, -i, or -u, while its English equivalent usually ends in -ed or -en.
