(Formidable, formidable) | (Terrific, terrific) |
Formidable, formidable | Terrific, terrific |
Tu étais formidable, j’étais fort minable | You were terrific, I was terrible |
Nous étions formidables | We were terrific |
Formidable | Terrific |
Tu étais formidable, j’étais fort minable | You were terrific, I was terrible |
Nous étions formidables | We were terrific |
Oh bébé – oups ! – mademoiselle | Hey, baby, oops: young lady |
J’vais pas vous draguer, promis juré | I swear I won’t hit on you |
J’suis célibataire, depuis hier putain ! | I’m single, since yesterday, damn it! |
J’peux pas faire d’enfant et bon c’est pas | I cannot have children, but anyway that’s not… |
Eh reviens ! Cinq minutes quoi ! | Hey, come back here! Just a few minutes |
J’t’ai pas insultée J’suis poli, courtois, | I did not insult you, I have my manners |
et un peu fort bourré Et pour les mecs comme moi, | and I’m quite a bit plastered and for guys like me |
vous avez autre chose à faire hein | you have other things to do, you could have seen me yesterday |
Vous m’auriez vu hier… J’étais… | when I was terrific, terrific… |
