Demonstrative pronouns

These pronouns are used to say this/that one and these/those ones. They reflect the gender (m./f) and number (sing./pl.) of the noun they replace. Therefore, there are four forms of this pronoun:

Il y a deux pantalons qui me plaisent, celui en laine et celui en lin. |

Des deux pantalons, j’aime mieux celui que coûte le plus cher. |
Of the two pairs of pants, I prefer the ones that cost the most. |
Examples of Complementation Questions:
- J’ai deux livres à te prêter: ________ – ci et ________- là.
- Il te faut un IPhone. Tu veux ________ de maman ou ________ de papa?
- Emporte au moins deux brosses à dents!________ sont nouvelles!
- Quel sac de couchage est-ce que tu veux?________ en coton ou ________ en fibre synthétique?
- Bon, je vois que tu as ce qu’il faut. Tu as aussi tes deux sacs à dos. Laisse-moi t’aider à porter.
