Quand j’étais petite, j’adorais aller chez mes grands-parents pendant les vacances.	When I was little, I loved going to my grandparents’ house during the holidays.
Je jouais avec mon cousin et ma cousine.	I used to play with my cousin (masc.) and my cousin. (fem.)
Mon cousin s’appelle Louis et ma cousine Marie.	My cousin is Louis and my cousin is Léonie.
On faisait des cabanes dans le jardin.	We used to do cabins in the garden.
Souvent, le midi, ma grand-mère nous préparait des pique-niques et on allait manger dans la cabane.	Often, at noon, my grandmother used to prepare picnics and we used to eat in the cabin.
Le soir, mon grand-père nous lisait des histoires.	In the evening, my grandfather used to read us stories.
Après, on parlait jusque très tard dans la nuit…	After, we used to talk until very late in the night …
et le matin, on faisait la grasse matinée !!!	and in the morning, we were sleeping!
Pour moi, c’était des vacances de rêve…	For me, it was a dream vacation …
