You open a checking account at the bank. You can request a checkbook (a checkbook) and a credit card.

You regularly receive from the bank an account statement which indicates all your banking operations and which allows you to know how much you have in your account.

We sometimes receive his salary in the form of a transfer.

If you have too much money, you can save, (put money aside) and open a savings account. When you save money in a savings account, you get, you get interest.

To transfer money from one account to another account, you make a bank transfer.

If, on the contrary, you spend more money than what you have in your account, you are overdrawn: your account is in debit, your balance is negative.

If you borrow money from someone you are in debt, you owe someone money.

If you write a check and there is no money in your account, you write a bad check.

When you make a big purchase, you don’t necessarily have the full amount to pay cash (pay the full amount immediately). So we borrow money from the bank (= we borrow from the bank) to buy a house for example. Then you repay your loan and pay interest (you repay more than the amount borrowed).
