Song : Pourquoi tu vis

French English
On t’a fait un monde

Trop petit

We made you a world

Too small

For your ideas,

For the appetite of your big eyes

wide open

On infinity.

You’re a prisoner of your home,

Of your parents,

Of this adult who tells you he’s right

And lies to you

You were born for madness, for light

For countries

Filled with kings.

And you wonder in your prisoner’s night

Why you live and where you go

Why you live and where you go

You have no plane, no boat

To get away.

The illusions that remain are a great raft

That’s going to sink

And yet you want with all your body,

With all your heart

To finally break the black and white of your decor

With great colors.

You were born for madness, for light

For countries

Filled with kings.

And you wonder in your prisoner’s night

Why you live and where you go

Why you live and where you go

You were born for madness, for light

For countries

Filled with kings.

And you wonder in your prisoner’s night

Why you live and where you go

You were born for madness, for light

For countries

Filled with kings.

And you wonder in your prisoner’s night

Why you live and where you go

Why you live and where you go
