M. Brown est assis dans le salon de sa maison.	Mr. Brown is seated in the living room of his house.
M. Picard est assis près de lui.	Mr. Picard is seated near him.
M. Picard dit a M. Brown: Il y a beaucoup de choses autour de nous: dans la maison, dans la rue, dans le bureau, dans le parc, dans la ville, et à la campagne.	Mr. Picard says to Mr. Brown, There are many things around us: in the house, in the street, in the office, in the park, in the city, and in the country.

C’est un piano. Ma femme joue bien du piano. Elle chante bien aussi.	It is a piano. My wife plays the piano. She sings well too.

Une lampe et un cahier de musique.	A lamp and a music book.

C’est le portrait de ma femme	It is the portrait of my wife.

II y a des livres sur la petite table.	There are some books on the little table.
