Ce matin, M. Vincent et sa famille ont pris le car qui les a emportés à travers le pays basque, jusqu’aux Pyrénées.	This morning, Mr. Vincent and his family took the bus that took them across the Basque country to the Pyrenees.
Les touristes ont mis pied à terre et ils admirent le paysage.	The tourists set foot on land and admire the landscape.
“Allons plus loin,” dit M. Vincent. “Lorsque nous serons arrivés là-bas, au bout de ce sentier, nous verrons le lac de Gaube”.	“Let’s go further,” says Mr. Vincent. “When we get there, at the end of this path, we will see Gaube Lake”.
Sa femme et ses enfants le suivent, Voici le lac bleu, entouré des hautes montagnes et de glaciers.	His wife and children follow him. Here is the blue lake, surrounded by high mountains and glaciers.
Comme l´air est pur et calme! On entend les clochettes des vaches que l’on voit là-haut, au-delà. des forêts.	How pure and calm the air is! You can hear the bells of the cows that you can see up there, beyond the forests.
Dans trois mois, quand la neige aura couvert les sommets et les vallées, quand les torrents ne seront tus, le paysage sera beau et triste; mais personne ne viendra l’admirer.	In three months, when the snow will have covered the peaks and the valleys, when the torrents will not be silent, the landscape will be beautiful and sad, but no one will come to admire it.
Là, on ne fait pas de ski: ce n’est pas une station de sports d’hiver. “Allons, il faut redescendre…”	There, we do not ski: this is not a winter sports resort. “Come on, we have to go back down…”
Près de la cascade du pont d’Espagne, le car attend les touristes.	Near the Spanish Bridge waterfall, the bus is waiting for tourists.
Dès qu’ils seront revenus, il les emmènera, sur la route bordée de précipices, vers la plaine, vers la célèbre ville de Lourdes.	As soon as they return, it will take them, on the road bordered by precipices, towards the plain, towards the famous city of Lourdes.
